I have had consistently poor relations with 21st Century. From Customer Service, Claim Associates to Adjusters... people were rude when presented with a suggestion to fulfill their job responsibilities. Also, they were terribly unreasonable in the amount of time they took to respond to a claim. (Their answer: Our customer service rep failed to update your contact information.) State Farm has been a delight to work with regarding our auto insurance and I am sure we will find their standards of operation for homeowner's insurance to be equally acceptable..

They may have good coverage at a decent cost, but my advice to you would be "stay away", choose another company. I was recently in an accident and the feelings I experienced was basically like Santa Cruz 11-21-07. I was the one hit by a SUV and slammed into the car infront of me but 21st Century made me feel like I was just a number and not a "policy owner". Several times I had to call my claim adjuster just to find out what was going on, he only called me back once. For about 80% of the time I felt like I had a big question mark on my forehead. So I called and complained. That was a joke. I couldn't believe their answers to their lack of perfessionalism..
